Five nights at Freddy's is a highly-acclaimed indie point and click adventure game developed and published by Scott Cawthon of Fullbright. It is his fourth episode from the Five Nights In Freddy's series. This time around, there are 3 teens - Jason (Dylan Minnette), Billy (Ben Myers), and Freddy (Nathan Fillion) who've just gotten a job in the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza socket in Fazbear City. The first night, they are about to go on a trip to the park in which Freddy runs his restaurant. Freddy is a lover of films like"A Nightmare On Elm Street", so he's excited about seeing it again.
After settling their cash, they head out to Freddy's Pizza at the night that he is advised to start his series. They are dressed to impress, as Freddy is a really famous artist. The doors of the office are open, but as Jason and Billy rush in, Freddy grabs them. Jason and Billy operate out, while Freddy opens the doors of his office. Inside, Freddy takes off his mask, revealing his true identity - Freddy Kruger.
Freddy immediately begins to attack Jason and Billy. Freddy uses his magic powers to turn people to stone or to make different things move on their own - such as a truck ahead of Jason. He also makes Jason feel sick. Freddy also uses his ability to control people, like when he makes Jason believes he's having a heart attack.
Freddy is much more terrifying when he touches Jason, turning him into a sword. Jason can fight back, but by using his unique powers of telekinesis and his voice. Jason manages to grab Freddy, but Freddy uses his power to throw Jason into a different dimension. Jason gets his memory back and heads back to Freddy's Pizza.
However, Freddy comes with an ulterior motive - to get back at Jason and Billy for kidnapping him and breaking his soul. If Jason kills Billy or Jason, he will get a trophy. So, Jason and Billy head to the pizzeria to find their killer...
Five nights in Freddy's turns the usual point and click action game in the last games into a full-scale terror experience. The images are amazing. The sound is excellent. The voice acting is superb. However, there are some glitches in the plot.
Freddy is always about, but he attacks Jason or even Billy. Freddy is simply a backdrop character. Jason and Billy find out that the animatronic dolls are in fact fake, and that Freddy has a grudge against them. Jason and Billy must find out what happened on Freddy and stop him before it is too late.
While the story of Five Nights at Freddy's is an interesting one, it might not be the best one around. Due to how the game was put together, the events which happen may appear unnecessary or confusing at first. However, once the narrative and the figures are clarified and the plot starts to fall into place, the game begins to make fnaf 4 game sense.
